Legefy (pronounced LEG-uh-figh) is a legacy Stacy and Dana want to leave their family. A company that tries its best to give schools a lower cost, better quality option to fix roofs, thereby saving thousands of tax dollars for other important things, like a playground. Or new computer carts and laptops. The list is endless. Legefy wants to help schools provide the little things by making the big things cost less.

Stacy Ackley Ed.D. spent 30 years as an educator. He started out as a football coach and teacher, then became an athletic director. Next, he became a principal, and finally a superintendent. Just prior to retiring, he had the opportunity to learn about silicone roof restoration. The more he learned about it, the more he wished he had known about it during his time as a superintendent. Silicone roof restoration, while maintaining quality, is a much lower cost option to a traditional roof replacement.

Dana Ackley M.Ed., is Stacy’s wife and partner in Legefy Roofing. She spent several years in education, teaching elementary school, middle school science, and was finally an instructional specialist. She also understands how much each dollar of a school budget must stretch, which is why she is excited about what Legefy Roofing can do to help schools save those dollars for other important things.
